(B.A Hons.) British and American Literature, Post-Colonial Literature, European Classical Literature, Literary Theory, Partition Literature, Popular Literature, World Literature, Communicative English.

Established since the formation of college, the department has offered both Hons. and Pass courses to students. Since 2017/18 the department has 16 sanctioned seats offering Hons. paper only. The department has two regular and two guest faculty engaged in taking classes for both +2 (Arts, Sci Voc and Commerce) English compulsory paper alongside +3 hons, AECC and SEC paper (as per CBCS pattern). The department roots to bridge a path for the students to achieve their dreams in the discipline concerned and to overcome the language barrier through interactive classes. It also organizes seminar for the Hons. students and encourages them to participate in literary events organized by the college and others.
