Department of Biology

The Department of Biology at Burla NAC College, Burla is committed to advancing knowledge and understanding in the biological sciences through innovative research and comprehensive education. Since its beginning, the department has grown from offering +2 courses to 64 students to now accommodating 128 students. It currently offers only +2 Science courses. Our primary objective is to create an inclusive and stimulating environment where students and faculty can explore the complexities of life, from molecular biology to ecosystem dynamics. Our department boasts exceptional faculty and staff who are leaders in their respective fields, providing high-quality education and mentorship to our students. The inclusive curriculum offers a strong foundation in biological sciences, preparing students for diverse careers in healthcare, research, environmental science, and biotechnology. Additionally, the Department of Biology is equipped with advanced laboratories and modern instrumentation, ensuring our students have access to the best resources for their education.
