Department of Chemistry

This Department is as old as the science stream established since 1985.Starting from the initial student’s strength was 64, at present the total strength is 128.Since its inception, the department has grown from offering +2 courses to 64 students to now accommodating 128 students. It currently offers both +2 Science and +2 Vocational Science courses.The department is committed to nurturing the next generation of chemists by providing a comprehensive and rigorous education that prepares students for successful careers in academia, industry, and beyond.The department is blessed with a visionary versatile and multi-talented teacher who put the foundation of excellence in Chemistry teaching.The department has excellent laboratory facilities that meet every need of the students with excellence, making them confident. Quizzes, seminars, study tours, and interactions with dignitaries in special fields broaden the horizons of learning. Sincere efforts are being made to introduce +3 B.Sc. (Hons) courses very soon.
