Department of Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at Burla NAC College, Burla is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and service in the mathematical sciences. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive and challenging education that prepares students for careers in academia, industry, and government, as well as for advanced studies in mathematics and related fields. Since its inception, the department has grown from offering +2 courses to 64students to now accommodating 128 students. It currently offers both +2 Science and +2 Vocational Science courses. The department’s comprehensive syllabus offers students a strong foundation in mathematics, emphasizing both theoretical and applied aspects.
